Before you book…

For your tarot experience to be most helpful for you, it’s a good idea to have some questions in mind. The clearer you are about what you are seeking guidance on, the better your chance of receiving valuable answers from your reading.

So, you first need to be clear on what you want to know and then try to articulate an easy to understand question. In this way, the reading you receive should both shed light on your situation, as well as provide you with insight to enable you to embrace your own power to respond appropriately.

QUESTION EXAMPLES

General overview spreads

A variety of spreads can be used. You may want to look at a general overview of your year ahead, or you may prefer to focus on particular areas such as:

  • What should I do with my feelings for XYZ?

  • What am I learning from this relationship?

Care for self or others

  • How can I best take care of myself?

  • What are the obstacles to my wellbeing at this time?

  • How can I best help XYZ right now?

Situations

  • What is this difficult circumstance showing me?

  • What will support me as I go through this challenging time?

  • How could I make my life more meaningful?

When? Questions on timing

In order to find the right person/job/career etc. certain experiences preceding such things need to happen from point A to point B and they can have different time span. Therefore, it’s more fruitful to formulate questions within a period of time eg. next 3/6/9 months etc.

Two or more options: what’s the best way for me?

You may wish to explore two or more options in relation to your query. This may apply to questions in any of the above categories.

For example:

  • What are the likely consequences, opportunities or risks of choosing path A or path B.

These questions are suggestions only, so please feel free to formulate your own questions. Furthermore, I’ll be happy to discuss or refine your question before or during your reading :)
